The Florida Writer Magazine

The Florida Writer (TFW), the official magazine of the Florida Writers Association, includes news about FWA programs and events, and offers members the opportunity to see their names in print alongside educational articles by industry professionals.

We publish members' creative writing and announcements celebrating their writing-related accomplishments. Submission requirements can be found in the most recent issue, and all back issues can be accessed in the Member Center.

Other contributions are generally  by invitation only. Contributors have included Jane Friedman, veteran consultant to writers in the digital age and author of The Business of Being a Writer, James Scott Bell and Steven James, national best-selling authors, and many more industry experts.  

The full-color magazine, produced in PDF format is published 6 times a year.
