Whether you're looking for a community to encourage your work or you lead a writers group that wants to connect with other writers across Florida, the Florida Writers Association is here to help.

The Florida Writers Group Directory connects you with peer-led writing communities throughout Florida. Every group has its own personality, meeting style, and areas of focus, but all share a common goal: helping writers grow through encouragement, accountability, and constructive feedback.  Browse the Writers Group Directory

The Florida Writers Association Writers Group Program recognizes and supports independent, peer-led writers groups throughout Florida. Our goal is simple: strengthen local writing communities by providing resources, visibility, and practical support while allowing each group to remain independently operated.

If you lead an eligible writers group, we'd love to welcome you to the Florida Writers Association Writers Group Program.
